The Gold Coast Regional Botanic Gardens
Spend a relaxing afternoon exploring the beautiful Gold Coast Regional Botanic Gardens, just a short drive from our Surfers Paradise beachfront accommodation.
Stretched out over 31 hectares of open Eucalyptus woodland and lush green lawns, the gardens are the perfect spot for a peaceful picnic or leisurely stroll and are open from dawn to dusk every day. Go on an adventure of smell and touch through the fragrant Sensory Garden, check out rare local plant species, take the famous Mangroves to Mountain walk, discover our colourful native butterflies in the Butterfly Gardens or simply relax by the lake with a cool drink while the kids enjoy the children’s play area.
If you’d like to find out more about the gardens history or book a guided tour, visit the Friends Centre information hub.
Entry to the gardens is free.
