Gold Coast Theme Parks
Surfers Paradise is the ultimate holiday maker’s destination. Blessed with inimitable natural wonders, tourists are initially drawn to the magnificent beach with a wide stretch of fine white sand. Guests visting Pacific Plaza Holiday Apartments, however, learn there’s more to enjoy in the vicinity of our Gold Coast family accommodation.
There is no end to the list of things to do from our Surfers Paradise beachfront accommodation. After a morning frolic at the beach, an afternoon of fun and bonding awaits you and your family at theme parks near our well-designed yet cheap accommodation in Surfers Paradise. Here are some of the world-class family theme parks that will make your senses swim with pleasure and excitement:
Take a few minutes drive from our cheap apartments in Surfers Paradise, and let yourself be carried away by the tallest ride in the world. You can also meet tigers, or watch an Imax movie in Dreamworld at the Gold Coast.
Get acquainted before your first dive at the Gold Coast, with the fish and other sea critters you’ll meet underwater. You can also take a ride on a state of the art whale watching vessel, and snap photographs of humpback whales giving birth before their seasonal migration back to the Antartic.
Warner Brothers Movie World
Immerse yourself in the magic and mastery of one of Hollywood’s most renowned and successful moviemakers. The company named after the Wonskolaser brothers who emigrated from Poland to captivate miners in Pennsylvania and Onion with the “moving pictures” brings Gold Coast tourists to live movies sets. Watch the exploits of Hollywood stunt drivers live. Or simply enjoy the antics of your favorite Looney Tunes characters like Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck. Warner Brothers is just a few minutes drive from our Surfers Paradise Apartments so you can have a restful dip at our swimming pool after an excitement-filled day.
Wet ‘n’ Wild
The largest Australian water theme park is also within easy reach of our Surfers Paradise Apartments. Wet ‘n’ Wild offers thrilling water rides like the Kamikaze, giant U-shaped rafts that plunge down an 11m drop, and the Surfrider, a giant surfboard that spins while plummeting 30 minutes to the bottom. A personal favorite is the Aqualoop, a ride through four looping transparent slides that will make you blush with exhilaration.
