Rumba Caliente at Stingray Bar & Lounge
Every Friday night you can step straight into a Latin American paradise with themed cocktails, the resident DJ pumping mixes of energetic Latin beats, and the Stingray Salsa instructor will be on hand to teach you a few moves and start you off dancing through the night. Throw in Cuban and Latin inspired nibblies and friendly Latin loving locals, and you’re in for an evening to remember at Stingray with Rumba Caliente!
Dancing on the Green
On selected Sundays in September and October, get ready to experience the best rhythms and moves from Brazil at Home of the Arts (HOTA) in Surfers Paradise. Head to the Outdoor Stage at 9am for 2 hours of Dancing on the Green- Brazillian Rhythms with the charismatic and energetic instructor Jessica Diniz as she shows you the best moves around! Coco, ciranda, embolada, and maracatu steps abound. This is a free event for all ages.
Nobby’s Street Fiesta
Just a little way south of our Surfers Paradise accommodation you can find Nobby Beach, a popular local hotspot renowned for unique boutique shops, trendy eateries, and a pretty gorgeous stretch of beach. But on Sunday the 6th of October it will be transformed into a Street Fiesta and it’s going to be epic!
Live local musicians, Brazilian dance displays, fire shows and stilt walkers, and dance lessons are among a few of the evening's entertainment line up. There will also be kids activities and entertainment, plus delicious street food vendors. The local restaurants and cafes with the latin theme, so you can dine in style after making the most of the festivities. So get ready to move and shake because this is one Sunday evening on the Gold Coast that is not to be missed!
